Kerry Lodge B&B

Relaxing at our B&B in Napier after a long day of wine tasting!

Hawke's Bay (Napier)

Timmy enjoying a glass of wine at Kerry Lodge B&B in Napier.

Pics of Napier - an art deco town that was built back-up after a horrible earthquake....I can't remember the date.
This is the view of us walking on a really long bridge - one of our detours on our way to Hawke's Bay.

Finally...the Granny Gone Wild Video!

This is our experience on a bus on the way to Watson's Bay in Sydney, AU. This was really funny to see in person....

Dolphin Swim - Mt. Manganui

My first experience with a wetsuit...very weird. People here are wimpy about the water. I think it is really nice to swim in and they think it's cold! This was on the dolphin swim boat where we got to go snorkelling.

At the famous Cathedral Cove on the Cormandel Pen.

Hot Water Beach

Me soaking at Hot Water Beach in Hahei. This is a beach in the Cormandel Pen. and you have to dig your own hole to lay in. It is right on a thermal bed so the water can actually burn you if you get too close to the source of the hot water. This night we also saw phosphorous in the water! They glow and make it look like there are stars in the water....so cool!
This is after we climbed up some bolders in Crayfish Bay. It was so beautiful here. We also saw a cruise ship that sailed by!

Opito Bay

On our hike in Crayfish Bay off of Opito Bay

Opito Bay

After our hike - this is part of the Cormandel Peninsula.

Getting ready to climb the steps on a hike in Opito Bay!

This is us on the way to a B&B in Opito Bay - whoaaaa Milly! She almost didn't make it. The roads were narrow and steep!

At one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen - can't remember the name, but I am sure it starts with a W, since everything here does (-: It is right around the corner from New Chums which is ranked one of the top 50 beaches in the world!

Goat Island

We discovered that we skipped a ton of our trip! We just posted pics of Rotorua which was after Goat Island and the Cormandel Peninsula. So here are some updates!

This is Timmy with his snorkel get-up on!! He looks soooo hot! This is when we got stuck in Leigh which is a dinky town half-way to Bay of Islands where we planned to go before our car pooped out. We made the best of it and this was a great place to stay for a couple of nights. It is a natural marine reserve (Goat Island) and you can snorkel there. I wrote down that I wanted to visit there - I guess the Law of Attraction was at work, even though we really wanted to make it to the Bay of Islands )-:
